Position Summary:
The Sr. Project Coordinator works to ensure Process Safety Management risks and regulatory requirements are identified and addressed. This position requires strong maintenance, electrical and mechanical knowledge. A detailed orientated, self-motivated, problem solver that utilizes a strong work ethic for a 300+ union facility in Chilton, WI is required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform all duties in a safe manner
Ability to work in a team environment focusing on meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost standards
Maintain and update procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
Coordinate and track PSM related training for employees
Actively engage with employees in day-to-day operations to reinforce PSM practices
Coordinate scheduling and verify completion of audits and inspections
Drive closure of Action Items from Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and Compliance Audits
Collect and maintain accurate PSI documentation
Support the overall health and effectiveness of the PSM Program
Must be able to work independently; will be responsible for specific or cross-functional tasks, based on equipment
Participate in continuous improvement projects throughout the facility
Enter, track, and file all PSM preventative maintenance tasks
Review, update, and verify all PSM Preventative Maintenance
Capable of working any shift, including weekends and daily overtime with possibility of rotating shifts, if needed for training and support
Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements

Knowledge of safety protocol such as lock out tag out, confined space and haz-com

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation, project, and organizational skills

Physical Requirements:
Must be capable of physical exertion such as extended periods of standing, sitting, walking, recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching
Must be capable of recurring lifting or handling of heavy items or similar activities from ground level to above the head with weights of up to 30 pounds throughout the work shift
Environmental/Atmospheric Working Conditions:
Exposure to dust, fumes, and odors
Exposure to solvent and chemicals
Other risks associated with working in a manufacturing environment
Machines, Tools, Equipment & Software Used:
Personal protective equipment including ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots, and safety vest
Tools include but not limited to: gas calibration kit, tape measure, fire extinguishers, and basic hand tools
Microsoft Office Programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)
Learning2Lean (L2L), JD Edwards (JDE)
Education / Training Required:
1-2 years of PSM experience
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
