Staff Product Manager

Job Description
We’re hiring: Staff Product Manager | £120K–£130K + Bonus | London (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a globally scaling fintech to hire a Staff Product Manager to lead the creation of a brand-new in-person payments proposition.
This is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership of a new product area — from defining the vision through to launching and scaling. You’ll be stepping into a space with strong commercial backing, but no fixed roadmap, giving you the opportunity to shape both the direction and execution from day one.
If you enjoy building from scratch, working through ambiguity, and turning ideas into real, revenue-generating products, this role offers significant ownership and visibility.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Defining the product vision and strategy for a new in-person payments offering within a broader digital platform.
- Translating ambiguous opportunities into clear plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
- Leading discovery across customers, partners, and markets to validate problems and shape the solution.
- Working closely with engineering to design, build, and launch the initial product iteration.
- Owning delivery end-to-end — from early concept through to go-to-market and iteration.
- Collaborating with commercial, operations, risk, and compliance teams to ensure the product is scalable and market-ready.
- Establishing success metrics and using data to continuously refine the product post-launch.
What you’ll bring:
- Strong experience in product management, operating at a senior or staff level within a complex environment.
- A track record of building 0→1 or greenfield products, ideally taking products from concept through to launch.
- Excellent product judgement with a focus on customer outcomes, usability, and simplicity.
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments without predefined direction.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and business teams to deliver impactful products.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to make prioritisation decisions based on impact and ROI.
Nice to have:
Exposure to payments, fintech, or financial platforms.
Experience with in-person or omnichannel product experiences.
Background in high-growth or product-led organisations.
If you’re interested in building a new product line within a high-growth fintech — combining startup-style ownership with the backing of an established platform — please get in touch!
