Steel Erector/Welder Fabricator

About the Role:
We are looking to strengthen our team with a skilled Installation Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects. While a welder/fabricator background would be advantageous, this role is primarily focused on steel erection, mechanical fitting, and on-site installation work. Welding and fabrication experience is therefore desirable but not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work and thrives in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Steel erection and mechanical fitting on site

• Assisting with installation and breakdown work

• Working as part of a team to deliver projects safely and efficiently

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving under time pressure

• Supporting and potentially leading installation teams as required

Key Skills and Experience:

• Experience in steel erection, mechanical fitting, or a related installation role

• Welder/fabricator background preferred but not essential

• Ability to think clearly and solve problems during breakdown or reactive work

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Previous team leader or supervisory experience is desirable

Licences and Certifications (Preferred):

• FLT

• Scissor lift

• Cherry picker

• Telehandler
  (Not all are essential; training may be available for the right candidate.)
