Steel Erector (Barnstaple)

Interaction Recruitment are looking for experienced Steel Erectors to join a major industrial project in Barnstaple. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives seeking long-term work, strong day rates and the chance to work with a well-established contractor on a high-profile build.

Duties will include:
  • Erecting structural steelwork on a large, fast-moving industrial site
  • Operating MEWPs safely (IPAF 3a/3b required)
  • Assisting with lifting operations if experienced
  • Working closely with site supervisors and lifting teams
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
  • Adhering to all site health & safety procedures
Requirements:
  • Blue CSCS (Skilled Worker)
  • IPAF 3a/3b
  • Slinging experience – desirable
  • Strong background in structural steel erection
  • Experience on large-scale industrial projects
  • Good awareness of safety and lifting operations
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
  • Full PPE required
