Polishing Operative
Location: Wednesbury
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in Wednesbury for an experienced Polishing Operative. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering ongoing work and a choice of day or night shifts.
Shift Patterns & Pay Rates
Day Shift
*
Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 6:00pm
*
Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
*
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
Night Shift
*
Monday to Thursday: 6:00pm – 3:00am
*
Friday: 5:00pm – 2:00am
*
Pay rate: £16.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
*
Polishing stainless steel flat rolled materials to the required finish
*
Operating polishing machinery safely and efficiently
*
Inspecting finished products to ensure quality standards are met
*
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
*
Following all health and safety guidelines at all times
Requirements
*
Previous experience polishing stainless steel flat rolled products
*
Strong attention to detail
*
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
*
Reliable, hardworking, and committed
