Steelwork Estimator

We are currently seeking an experienced Steelwork Estimator to join our team, working on a variety of structural steel projects based in Colchester.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for structural steelwork projects

* Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documents

* Producing material take-offs and cost breakdowns

* Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

* Identifying value engineering opportunities

Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator within the steelwork or structural steel industry

* Strong understanding of fabrication and installation processes

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

* Good commercial awareness and attention to detail

* Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office
