Key Responsibilities for a Store Manager
Oversee all aspects of store operations, including staff management, inventory control, retail sales, and customer satisfaction Manage staffing levels and schedules to ensure optimal store performance Foster a high standard of customer service among team members Train, mentor, and coach staff, encouraging skill development and career advancement Monitor store performance and provide regular reports to senior management Networking and posting on store social media to maximise sales and footfall Generating new customers through word‑of‑mouth, local marketing, events and product demonstration Managing your people to include setting objectives, coaching, personal development plans and appraisals
What We're Looking For in a Store Manager
Proven retail experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a similar role A track record of managing KPIs and budgets to enhance store performance A confident leader who can motivate and inspire a team A real people person who enjoys being within a retail sales and service environment Experience within a fashion, beauty, footwear or accessory background
