Cowling & Wilcox is a specialist fine and graphic art retailer established in 1960. With three stores across London and one in Kent, we are known for providing high quality products and outstanding customer service. We are now seeking an ambitious and proactive Store Manager to lead our successful Camberwell branch. About the Role As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shop, leading a team of sales consultants and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will maintain high retail standards, motivate your team, and drive store performance through effective management and leadership. Applicants must be comfortable with daily physical activity, including lifting and carrying stock, as well as working on a busy shop floor for extended periods. Our managers work Monday to Friday but must have weekend availability to cover Assistant Manager holidays and absence. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and develop the store team Ensure excellent customer service at all times Manage daily store operations and merchandising Drive sales and meet performance KPI's Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, ensuring they are well-trained in retail procedures, POS systems, and customer engagement techniques.
