About the Role As a Store Manager – Express in an Asda Express store, you will work with a small team of colleagues to drive sales, set standards and deliver KRAs. You will be the key motivator, maintain morale and create an operation that keeps customers coming back. You will support Asda’s pricing strategy and keep costs low. Work on a rolling rota that includes weekends, evenings and sometimes late nights. Deal with management issues such as disciplinary matters and grievances in a professional manner. Plan rota planning and manage holiday planning. Coach, role model and mentor the team and inspire them to be the best they can be.

Qualifications

Natural friendliness, adaptability to fast‑paced environments and a desire to get stuck in. Strong leadership, people skills, coaching ability and role‑model behaviour. Ability to handle disciplinary matters and grievances with professionalism. Experience in rota planning, holiday management and operational leadership.
