Join Our Strategic Research Team We are looking for an Analyst to join the Strategic Research team within one of the UK’s largest housing associations. The role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the sector, translating policy, society and economic developments into actionable insights for colleagues and influencing the external environment. The team’s regular tasks include:
Horizon scanning to support Executive and Group Board in strategy setting Managing responses to consultations and calls for evidence Carrying out housing market monitoring and analysis Impact assessing the effects of new legal or regulatory changes Equipping colleagues to understand and effectively respond to policy, society and economy changes Evaluating current or new housing products against housing need in L&Q operating areas Delivering L&Q’s thought leadership programme
Reporting into the Strategic Research Manager, you will work alongside two other Analysts and a Graduate Analyst, and maintain strong relationships with the Strategy, Communications and other analytical teams. What We’re Looking For
Demonstrable skill or experience in leading research and analysis projects (preferably in a housing context) Strong understanding of policy issues affecting the housing sector Very strong written communication skills and the ability to tailor communication to different audiences Evidence of successfully networking, collaborating with and influencing a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders Ability to produce written work for senior leaders under tight deadlines Some experience of project management
