This team is responsible for the ongoing streetlighting works in Hampshire and Southampton as part of the South Coast PFI.In a typical day, you could expect to be;Maintaining our streetlighting infrastructure including but not limited to streetlights, signs, and subways includinglamp changes, visual inspections, and electrical testingCarry out electrical connections to new street lighting infrastructureCarry out fault diagnosis and repairs.Ensuring we deliver outstanding service to our clients and the general public Operating a mobile elevated working platform (MEWP)Attending the emergency standby rota, which consists of being on call to attend emergency call outs out of hours Monday to Sunday.Working to strict safety guidelines and regulationsWhat do I need to be successful in the role?You will have an electrical background and will have completed NVQ Level 3We work in all weathers! So, you need to be the type of person who is happy working outdoors all year roundA lot of this role will be working at height, so you need to be comfortable with working in a MEWP above the ground more than 12mWe do need you to have a full UK Manual Driving Licence as we cover a wide range of locationsSome of our nice to haves are;We would look for you to hold IPAF/PASMA working at heights trainingIt would be a benefit if you have a good knowledge of the 18th EditionIf you are qualified to AM2, City and Guilds 2391 qualification this would be a benefit but not essentialCompletion of G39/Safe Isolation TrainingWe can however support the right candidate to achieve any level of industry training/qualifications they may not have in the nice to have listHere at Enerveo, we know that some applicants dont apply unless they think they tick all the boxes- but we are saying dont worry!
