An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Structural Engineer to join a well established and specialist structural engineering consultancy in Bristol. Known for delivering technically robust, practical, and cost effective structural design solutions across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, leisure, and industrial, this practice is committed to excellence.

The Role
As a Structural Engineer, you will:
Lead and manage structural design work from initial concept through to construction
Prepare and check calculations, drawings, and technical reports in accordance with UK standards
Carry out structural analysis and design using industry standard software
Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary design teams
Attend site visits and provide technical support during the construction phase
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and quality standards
Assist in mentoring and guiding junior engineers
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Has 2+ years of experience in a UK consultancy environment
Is working towards Chartered status (IStructE or ICE )
Has a good understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes
Is proficient in structural design software
Has experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit
Works well within collaborative multidisciplinary teams
Communicates effectively with both technical and non technical stakeholders
