Well established structural design consultancy are seeking a structural engineer to join their team. You will be working alongside an FIStructE qualified Director.
The offices are close to Rochford station, though a car driver would be preferable for attending site visits. The practice is incredibly busy with work and needs more people to be able to cope! Projects range from a few hundred pounds in value up to £10m. Workload is very varied including bespoke one-off houses, large new build blocks of flats, extensions, conversions, industrial sheds, schools, LA work, surveys, inspections and defect analysis.
You must be able to design in all the main materials and use Autocad as well. Excellent communication skills are essential. Priority will be given to local candidates. Ideally you will be nearing Chartered status but candidates with a minimum of 3 years design experience will be considered.
