If you are a high performing Structural Facade Engineer currently hit by a glass ceiling in a large corporate consultancy, this could be your opportunity to move into a role prioritising autonomy and influence.


The successful Structural Façade Engineer will:


  • Take the lead on façade engineering projects from initial RIBA stage 3 - 5, acting as the primary project manager.
  • Conduct and oversee complex structural analysis and calculations, serving as the consultancy's technical lead.
  • Run meetings with clients, architects, and contractors, providing confident technical advice alongside the facade department.
  • Bridge the gap between technical design and site reality, conducting visits to resolve engineering challenges and ensure high quality.
  • Support with business growth by identifying new market opportunities and leading technical proposal preparations.
  • Integrate structural precision with aesthetic and performance requirements, ensuring total design compliance across all disciplines.


We are looking for a Structural Façade Engineer with:


  • A minimum of 4 years of UK experience with structural facade design.
  • Experienced structural engineer with a background in façades and cladding.
  • Works well with other team members.
  • Proven technical ability in relation to façade structural engineering.
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach to project challenges.
