We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Student Learning Advisor to join a reputable college in West London on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and group academic support to students across a range of courses Assist learners with study skills, time management, and assignment planning Support students with additional learning needs, including those requiring extra academic guidance Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify and support at-risk learners Develop and deliver workshops on study skills, revision techniques, and academic writing Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of support provided Promote inclusive learning practices and help create a supportive learning environment Support students in building confidence, resilience, and independent learning skills Requirements Experience supporting learners in an educational or training environment Strong understanding of study skills and learning support strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs Good organisational and record-keeping skills A relevant qualification in education, learning support, or a related field (desirable) Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students What We Offer Competitive hourly rate (£20-£22 per hour) Part time - flexible working hours Supportive and collaborative environment Opportunities for professional development How to Apply To apply, please submit your CV and a brief cover statement outlining your suitability for the role.
