Sub Agent

UPB are working with a specialist civils contractor to appoint a Sub Agent to assist in the delivery of a complex infrastructure project.

Ideally, you will be from an Engineering background, and comfortable with predominantly an-office based role to assist in driving a project forward.

Key responsibilities:

* Working on the construction phase delivery plan, optimizing construction programme

* Assisting the Project Manager with implementing RAMS and other site documentation

* Ensure compliance with construction drawings and record any variances

* Ensure Site diaries and allocation sheets are produced

* Attend weekly site meetings

* Coordinate with the design manager to ensure that the design activities are visible and that all activities are aligned to support the programme

* Encourage and support the delivery of successful collaborative planning with the contract delivery teams

Key Competencies/ Experience:

* Previous experience in undertaking a Site Engineer, Senior Site Engineer Sub Agent, or similar delivery role as part of a civils & infrastructure construction project.

* Has good verbal and written communication skills

* CSCS Card

* SMSTS (Not Essential)

* Previous experience of problem solving, possible design input within construction or civils
