Bromley Council | £19.18 per hour (Umbrella) (£14.80 PAYE an hour) | 3-Month Contract
We are currently recruiting for a Supervised Contact Worker to join Bromley Council on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and families by facilitating and supervising contact sessions in a safe and supportive environment.
Location: This is a peripatetic role, primarily based at the Royston site in Penge, with regular travel required across the borough, including community-based settings.
Working Hours (Fixed)
36 hours per week
Sunday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Monday to Thursday: 10:00am – 6:00pm (some slight variation may apply)Please note: this working pattern is fixed and non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise contact sessions between children and families
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all parties during contact
Accurately record and report on observations from sessions
Work across multiple locations including contact centres and community settings
Support positive outcomes for children and families
Requirements
Experience working with children and families
Ability to manage sensitive situations professionally
Strong observation and report-writing skills
