We are recruiting a Supervising Social Worker/Senior Practitioner to join our fostering service based in Harold Wood, Romford, Essex, on a full-time basis. Our service covers London and the surrounding counties per our growth and development strategy.

Your base will be from the Harold Wood, Romford Office.

In this role, you will work directly with our foster carers within a realistic caseload, which enables a high level of supervision, monitoring and intervention. This gives you the support and resources to engage positively with foster carers and children. We work within a trauma-informed practice model (ATIC) with integration across our fostering, residential, clinical and education services to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people. This model is continually evolving with updated research and practice development.

You will also be involved in recruitment events for prospective fostering families within our foster carer recruitment activities, completing Form F assessments and support participation events for our young people.

Work in collaboration with all colleagues and managers to achieve a high standard of service to foster carers and young people whilst meeting all Ofsted requirements.

You will also be participating in our out-of-hours duty line, supporting our foster carers on a rota basis.

£33,755 to £44,530 p.a DOE plus Car Allowance
