Location : Birmingham Hours : 40 hours per week What will you be responsible for? As Supervisor you'll be working within the Maintenance team, supporting with day to day supervision of the construction site to achieve required project delivery to the customers' objectives, while maintaining standards of health and safety, quality, environmental impact and cost control.
Responsible for the delivery of various projects, to the specified quality, the required programme and to the maximum commercial performance.
You will be working closely with the Project Manager & sub-contractors ensuring that schemes are completed in a safe manner.
Your day to day will include: Delivery of various projects in the surfacing sector within the Birmingham City Council areas, carrying out the works to the specified quality without defects Leading on-site management, and sub-contractors in delivering the work safely without environmental incidents, and to the specified quality Fulfil works to project plans, RAMS, ITP's plus other safe systems of works, all in line with Kiers company procedures Assisting commercial staff with the monitoring of costs on each schemes What are we looking for? This role of Supervisor is great for you if: Experience in County Council and inner city lighting and communication projects in a highly regulated environment, ability to demonstrate the right behaviours, motivate and lead site team and contractors to high standards of compliance Good knowledge of specifications and testing regimes relevant to electrical activities along with CSCS, SSSTS / IOSH Managing Safely, with an ability to challenge designs and resolve problems to a conclusion Experience managing subcontractors valued up to £1m and producing, reviewing, and implementing safe systems of work for task specific activities Rewards and benefits We're proud to be able to offer our brilliant people a wide variety of benefits that you can tailor to your needs.
