Position Available : Supplier Improvement Manager
Location : Hertfordshire (2 days a week in office)
Salary : Up to £52,000 + Bonus
Experience needed : Strong experience improving supplier capability, capacity, and delivery performance within a complex manufacturing supply chain (ideally machining or treatments environment). The ideal person would have a background working on the shop-floor.
About the role
As a Supplier Development Manager, you'll work directly with key suppliers to strengthen their capacity, capability, and delivery performance, ensuring they can meet current and future programme demands.
You'll assess manufacturing readiness, identify constraints, and drive improvement plans across machining, fabrication, and treatment suppliers, collaborating with internal procurement, engineering, and quality teams to build a resilient, high-performing supply chain.

What we need from you:
Proven experience improving supplier capability, capacity, and delivery performance within a complex manufacturing environment (ideally some exposure to machining)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes with the ability to analyse flow, lead time, and bottlenecks, and develop realistic ramp-up plans
