Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Lead STA Engineer, based in Gaydon. Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery. THE ROLE The purpose of the role is to develop the capacity and quality performance of all new product and current vehicle suppliers and performs an important role within the Purchasing Department. To support the planning, monitoring and controlling of supplier manufacturing processes and activities to enable high quality and on time execution of product programmes effectively and efficiently whilst maintaining and improving current car performance. AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: Site development/customer Manufacturing site assessment. Customer/Supplier site improvement.
