Refeyn Ltd are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Operations team based in Oxford. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary starting from £41,000 per annum plus excellent company benefits.

The Supplier Quality Engineer role:

We are seeking a proactive Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure materials, components, and services from our suppliers meet quality, regulatory, and performance standards. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Consumables and Supply Chain, you will play a key role in supplier selection, qualification, performance management, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities as our Supplier Quality Engineer:

Support supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding

Conduct supplier audits (UK and international) and drive development activities

Monitor supplier performance, including QBRs and quality agreements

Define and align Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements, especially during NPI

Lead root cause analysis and manage supplier CAPA processes

Drive continuous improvement and prevent recurring quality issues

Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001

What we’re looking for in our Supplier Quality Engineer:

Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field

Experience in manufacturing (optics or regulated industries preferred)

Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (ISO 13485 desirable)

Skilled in problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)

Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills

Experience with audits and vendor quality performance measures
