Supply Chain and Logistics Manager - Basingstoke

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000+ Excellent Benefits

Our client, a global leader in their industry, is seeking a skilled Supply Chain and Logistics Manager for their Basingstoke facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive operational efficiency and champion standards within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute the UK supply chain strategy in line with global manufacturing/distribution models. Coordinate demand forecasting and supply planning for high-value and technically complex products. Ensure availability of parts to support customer OEM customer Production, uptime and customer SLAs Oversee European transport and third‑party logistics providers to optimise cost, reliability and delivery performance. Own logistics and supply chain cost performance within the UK entity Establish and track KPIs (OTIF, lead time, inventory turns, service level) Drive digitalisation and system integration to improve data visibility, reduce manual data handling and maximise ERP/planning system use. Ensure compliance with import/export, customs and trade controls; assess and mitigate supply and transport risks. Lead, coach and develop the supply chain & logistics team; work closely with Sales, Service, Finance and Customer Support in a matrix structure.

Qualifications & experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, or related field. 5+ years' operational supply chain experience with team leadership, ideally in high‑tech, electronics or capital equipment. Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse processes, ERP systems, continuous improvement and budget/financial management
