This role sits inside IR35 and offers a competitive day rate.This is a key position responsible for delivering sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring robust contract governance within a highly regulated environment. Due to the nature of the work, active SC clearance is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing & ProcurementLead the development and execution of sourcing activities aligned to business requirementsApply procurement frameworks and collaborate with category teams to optimise sourcing strategiesContract ManagementManage end-to-end contract lifecycle including negotiation, execution, and performance monitoringLead Contract Change Notice (CCN) processes and oversee commercial negotiationsEnsure spot purchasing aligns with operational and commercial objectivesGovernance & ComplianceMaintain accurate and auditable contract recordsImplement and monitor KPIs to measure supplier and contract performanceProvide regular reporting to governance forums on supplier performance and commercial statusCommercial & Financial ManagementLead cost negotiations and manage financial performance of supplier contractsAct as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on supply chain and commercial mattersResolve disputes while protecting business interestsStakeholder & Supplier ManagementBuild and manage strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholdersInfluence and negotiate across multiple levels to resolve complex issuesEnsure contractual obligations are effectively flowed down and managedKey Skills & ExperienceProven experience in Supply Chain / Procurement / Contract Management roles (5+ years)Strong background in supplier relationship management and subcontract managementDemonstrated experience in risk identification and mitigation within complex supply chainsAbility to negotiate contracts and manage commercial outcomesExperience working within governance frameworks and compliance-driven environmentsStrong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at management levelDegree in Business, Engineering or equivalent experienceCIPS qualification (or equivalent) desirableKey AttributesProactive and results-driven with strong commercial awarenessAble to operate independently and manage competing prioritiesStrong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersAdaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, change-driven environmentImportant RequirementDue to the nature of the work, you must hold current and active UK SC Clearance to be considered.Apply NowIf you are an experienced Supply Chain Manager with active SC clearance and are looking for your next contract opportunity, please apply with your latest CV.Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.
