We have a very exciting opportunity to join a European tier 1 automotive supplier in a new role as they establish their UK operation which will play a key role in shaping supply chain performance while driving operational excellence.\n As Supply Chain Manager you will have proven experience in establishing & developing supply chain operations and leading supply chain teams to lead and coordinate all Supply Chain activities in line with business objectives and customer requirements.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nDefine and implement supply chain strategy in line with company and plant objectives\nLead a cross-functional team and ensure alignment with KPIs and budget targets\nManage end-to-end supply chain processes: inbound, inventory, outbound, and production planning\nFoster a lean culture and identify cost-saving opportunities\nBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder, including suppliers and customers\nEnsure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements\n Skills and Experience:\n\nDemonstrated experience in a supply chain management role, ideally within a matrix manufacturing organisation\nExperience gained within the automotive sector is highly desirable.\nProject management skills and experience in start up environments/setting up supply chain operations\nAdaptability to operate within an evolving operational structure\nMaster's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent education or experience.\nA minimum of 3 years' experience in a management role, 5 years in a Logistics environment.\nStrong knowledge of Excel is essentialProcessing Your Data \n\nBis Henderson Recruitment is a leading provider of recruitment, interim management and consultancy services to the supply chain and logistics industry.
