Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + 10% bonus
Location: Skelmersdale (office-based with flexibility on start/finish times)

Role and Responsibilities
* Plan and forecast demand to ensure the right stock is available at the right time
* Manage materials planning, inventory levels, and supplier orders
* Maintain high product availability targets across key categories
* Analyse data to improve stock control and reduce excess or obsolete stock
* Monitor supplier performance and manage delivery schedules
* Expedite materials to meet customer demand and avoid delays
* Work closely with sales, procurement, and marketing teams
* Support inbound logistics and manage freight costs
* Identify areas for process improvement and take action
Key Requirements
* Experience in supply chain or materials planning
* Strong understanding of inventory management and forecasting
* Confident working with data and making decisions from it
* Good communication skills and ability to work across teams
* Comfortable managing suppliers and building relationships
* Experience with planning systems (SLIM4 or similar is useful)
