SUPPLY CHAIN & GOVERNANCE TECHNICIAN

£30 per hour (Umbrella) | Brize Norton | 3 days onsite

Initial contract until end of the year with likely extension

Monday–Thursday 08:00–16:15, Friday 08:00–13:00

Support critical UK defence air operations on a high-profile programme

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a globally recognised aerospace and defence organisation supporting a major UK military aircraft programme. Operating at the heart of UK defence services, the team works in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment directly supporting global operations. Due to continued programme demand, they are seeking a motivated Supply Chain & Governance Technician to join their Business Operations function.

THE SUPPLY CHAIN & GOVERNANCE TECHNICIAN ROLE:

As Supply Chain & Governance Technician, you will support procurement and supply chain operations within a regulated defence environment. You will prepare RFQs and procurement orders in line with governance policies, raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders in SAP and MySupply, and manage goods receipts and invoice queries.

You will liaise daily with suppliers and internal stakeholders, monitor KPIs, support supplier performance reviews, and assist with budget control and procurement forecasting. The role also involves stock optimisation, orderbook management, reporting, and supporting process improvement within the UK Support Centre.

SUPPLY CHAIN & GOVERNANCE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL SKILLS

3+ years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain

Strong experience using SAP

Good knowledge of MS Office

Strong planning and organisational skills

Confident communication skills (written and verbal English)

Desirable: Experience using MySupply.

Ability to obtain BPSS + SC Clearance
