Pay
£140-£240 per day, depending on experience
The Role
As a Supply Cover Teacher, you will step into the classroom to deliver pre-set lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will maintain a positive learning environment, manage classroom behaviour effectively, and ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout the school day.
Assignments may be short-term or long-term, with full-time or part-time opportunities available depending on school needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
Maintain good classroom behaviour and follow school policies
Support pupils with their learning and respond appropriately to their needs
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of each assignment
Represent the school professionally at all times
About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, but experienced cover supervisors are welcome to apply
Confident classroom management skills
Flexible, dependable, and professional
Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
Strong communication skills
