About the Role
As a Supply Planner, you'll help ensure the right products are in the right place at the right time across all channels. You'll manage stock throughout its lifecycle - from product introduction through to exit - working closely with suppliers, distribution centres and internal teams to keep availability high and operations efficient.
You'll join a strong and experienced team that thrives on collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. With hybrid working from our Support Office in Handforth, Cheshire, you'll have room to grow, learn and make a real impact.
What you'll do
Raise and review purchase orders in line with sales forecasts and promotional activity.
Maximise product availability while achieving stock turn targets and supporting cash flow.
Work with Distribution Centres to phase intake and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to meet demand.
Analyse supply and demand data to highlight trends, risks and opportunities.
Support the development and delivery of supply chain strategies.
Monitor supplier performance and proactively resolve supply issues.
Maintain and update reports using Excel and relevant planning systems.
Support E Commerce fulfilment and space planning initiatives.
About You
Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or planning tools (e.g., Relex) is a plus.
Excellent time management and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a drive for continuous improvement.
Experience in supply planning or inventory management is desirable but not essential.
A passion for pets and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic retail environment.
