About the Role
Destination Education is currently seeking reliable and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and well-managed primary schools in Walthamstow. This role is ideal for teachers who are looking for flexible working arrangements while continuing to deliver high-quality teaching and make a positive impact in the classroom. Opportunities include day-to-day cover, short-term placements, and longer-term assignments depending on availability and school requirements.
You will be responsible for maintaining continuity of learning, delivering pre-planned lessons, and ensuring a structured and positive classroom environment in line with each schools policies and expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
- Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Follow school policies and procedures effectively.
- Ensure pupil engagement and continuity of learning throughout the day.
- Manage behaviour in line with school expectations.
- Provide clear feedback to the school at the end of each assignment.
- Holds QTS or equivalent.
- Has recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
- Is flexible, reliable, and confident in different classroom settings.
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Communicates effectively with pupils and school staff.
- A dedicated consultant to support you.
- Flexible work to suit your availability.
