Job Type: Temporary / Supply / Flexible Salary: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience and role) Job Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Supply Staff to work across a range of primary schools. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in different educational settings while supporting pupils learning and development. Supply staff may cover roles including class teaching, teaching assistant support, and classroom supervision, depending on experience and school requirements. Key Responsibilities Deliver pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum (for teaching roles) Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging learning activities Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Adapt quickly to new school environments and routines Provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for pupils Assist with marking and assessment where required Support pupils with additional needs where applicable Maintain safeguarding standards at all times Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for teaching roles (desirable for support roles) Experience working within a primary school setting Strong classroom management skills Flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach Good communication and interpersonal skills A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Understanding of safeguarding and child protection xehkeey procedures Desirable Skills & Experience Experience across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 Special Educational Needs (SEN) experience Previous supply or agency work Ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff What We Offer Flexible working to suit your availability Opportunities to work in a variety of schools Competitive daily pay rates Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant Potential for long-term or permanent placements
