Supply Teachers – Leighton Buzzard
Keep Education is currently recruiting Supply Teachers to support primary and secondary schools in Leighton Buzzard.

Role Description
As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across different year groups and subjects, ensuring continuity of learning when the regular teacher is absent. Assignments can be pre-booked or arranged on the day, giving you flexibility and variety.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons following school planning
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Adapt quickly to new classroom environments and expectations
• Mark work and provide feedback where required
• Maintain safeguarding and promote the welfare of all pupils
• Communicate effectively with school staff and your Keep Education consultant
Educational Requirements
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices
Experience
• Previous classroom teaching experience in UK primary or secondary schools
• Experience delivering lessons across a range of abilities
• Confidence managing classroom behaviour independently
Skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility, reliability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to adapt teaching styles to suit different learning needs
