Role Summary
We are seeking Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to clients with complex and high-dependency health needs. Youll deliver specialist care, promote independence, and support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with long-term conditions, disabilities, or high-dependency requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver specialist care for clients with complex health needs, including PEG feeding, epilepsy management, and spinal injuries
Assist with personal care: washing, dressing, toileting, and continence management
Administer medication in line with care plans and legal requirements
Support daily living: mobility, transfers, and safe use of equipment (hoists, mobility aids, etc.)
Encourage independence and dignity in line with personalised care plans
Support clients daily routines, hobbies, education, and community activities
Report concerns or safeguarding issues promptly
Participate in care plan reviews and contribute to assessments

A 1-bed homely complex support service in Pickering, providing 24-hour support for a lady with a learning disability, epilepsy, and a spinal injury.
