*Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at Godfrey Care. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering individuals with learning disabilities by providing personalized support that enhances their daily lives and fosters independence.
*Responsibilities:*
* Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and self-care skills.
* Administer medication as prescribed and ensure proper documentation.
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the quality of life.
* Implement behaviour management strategies to support individuals during challenging situations.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities both within the home and in the community.
*Requirements:*
* Experience in a similar role within residential or supported living settings is preferred.
* Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care protocols.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviours effectively and compassionately.
* A caring attitude with a commitment to empowering individuals.
