Support Worker - £14.90 per hour (includes element of travel time) - Ellesmere Port & Chester

Making Space is a warm and values-led charity focused on delivering thoughtful, person-centred care. We are excited to welcome Support Workers to our new home care service in Ellesmere Port & Chester.
The role
This is more than just a job. As a Support Worker, you will play a meaningful part in people's daily lives, helping them stay independent in the place they feel happiest – their own home.
Additional travel time and downtime (30 minutes or less) paid at National Living Wage
Weekly hours: 16–30 hours guaranteed contracts, with regular overtime available
Shifts: Between 7am–11pm, including some weekends
Service opening in May, with a paid induction before you start
Key Responsibilities
Support people in a way that respects their choices and routines
Assist with personal care in a dignified and sensitive manner
Help with medication, meals, and light household tasks
Take time to build genuine, trusting relationships
Encourage independence and support people to live full, happy lives
