Job description:We are looking for highly motivated, skilled and reliableSupport Workersin Grimsbyarea. Supporting a male client withADHD, Autism and displays complex behaviours. Male only due to nature of the role.This post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 as there is a genuine occupational need to recruitMalesdue to the nature of the role.You will need:Caring, patient and empathetic natureExperience of communication with people at all levels and excellent communication skills.Motivation to make a difference to our clients6 months Experience of supporting clients with a Learning Disabilities and Complex BehavioursFull working rights to work in the UK (VP do not offer sponsorship)Your role would include:Supporting with daily living tasks including maintaining healthy diet, domestic responsibilities, attending appointments.Prompting with personal care tasks.Cognitive and behavioural support via the use of effective management strategies.Access to meaningful activities in the community and within the home.Maintaining daily records.Benefits:£12.60 per hour + holiday pay + pension!Free care certificateComprehensive in-house training to develop your knowledge and skills and support you in your role with us and any future career/educational pursuits.Referral bonus of £200 per support worker/HCA/care assistant and £300 per RMN/RNLD if you refer a colleagueEligibility to apply for the Blue Light schemeStaff awardsNo uniform requiredSalary:£12.60 per hourAll successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS check, if not already registered on the update service.
