We support clients who present a wide range of needs and challenges.Role description:This role is with Cedar Hope Care Services Ltd,supportingyoung people and adultsin the communityand inour registered services. Theyoungpeopleand adultsneedsvaryand can includelearning disabilities, autism,mental health, challengingbehaviourand other needs.?The Role involves shift work patternswhichare as follows:8.00 am-2.00pm8.00am - 3.00pm.8.00am - 8.00pm.2.00 pm-8.00pm3.00pm - 8.00pm8.00 pm-8.00am- waking night2.00pm - 11.00pm - sleep in3.00pm - 11.00pm - sleep inDuties will include:Assistin carrying out individual programmes of care?Assistwith the day-to-day individual care needs of the service user, including personal and intimate care, personal hygiene?Assistin providing constructive activitiestaking into accounttheparticular needsof the person?To provide support to maximise the service users independence?To ensure the maintenance ofhigh standardsof nutrition, health, safety,cleanlinessand personal hygiene?To provide support and opportunities for the service user to develop contact with people outside the service?To dispense and record medication?To work in a way that treats everyone equally and fairly, whilstpromoting service users rights and dignity at all times.?Toassistservice users to plan holidays and support them if needed.?To support service users in conjunction with the local authority safeguarding policy.?To support service users in positive risk taking.?Person specification:Ability to travel effectively todifferent locations, driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential?Satisfactory clearance of an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS, formerly CRB) Proof of right to work in the UK?Ability todemonstrateawareness/ understanding of equal opportunities and other peoples behaviour, physical, social and welfare needs?Good report writing?Good English language skills?Demonstrate professionalism?Ability to travel effectively todifferent locations, driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential?Flexibility- You must be willing to work evenings and weekends?Previousexperience in a similar role?These principal responsibilities are not an exhaustive list of duties, only a general guide to the post.
