About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and resilient Female Support Worker to join our supported living service for female prison leavers . The service provides short-stay, transitional accommodation for women who are rebuilding their lives following release from custody. This is a rewarding role where you will support women to develop independence, stability, and confidence during a critical transition period. This post is restricted to female applicants under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, due to the nature of the service and the needs of the women we support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide practical and emotional support to women in a short-stay supported living environment

Build positive, professional relationships based on trust, respect, and boundaries

Support residents with resettlement goals, including housing, benefits, health, and daily living skills

Encourage engagement with probation, substance misuse services, mental health services, and other agencies

Promote independence, safety, and wellbeing within the service
