About the Role: We are seeking compassionate and skilled Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to vulnerable young people and adults, including those experiencing homelessness or living in temporary/insecure accommodation. This role requires delivering trauma-informed support, managing caseloads, and enabling residents to progress towards independent living.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of clients and deliver regular key working sessions resulting in personalised Support Plans.

Complete comprehensive risk and needs assessments.
*
Conduct sensitive support and safety planning for individuals who may be ambivalent about engagement.
*
Respond to complex needs in a psychologically informed way.
*
Work with clients to maximise benefits, address sanctions, and secure income, including for those with no recourse to public funds (NRPF).
*
Support the development of independent budgeting and life skills.
*
Participate in housing management tasks, including void preparation, room checks, and health & safety monitoring.
*
Collaborate with multi-agency professionals to create holistic support plans.
*
Assist in the delivery, evaluation, and development of in-house recovery programmes.
Requirements:
*
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or a related qualification (essential).
*
Experience working with people who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness.
*
Strong case/key working experience with complex needs.
*
Ability to create high-quality, personalised support and safety plans.
*
Understanding of trauma, adversity, and multiple disadvantage.
*
Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation and homelessness issues.
*
Ability to work collaboratively across multi-agency teams.
*
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems.
