Morson are recruiting on behalf a leading defence equipment manufacturers based at their facility in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. Candidate MUST have prior Surface Mount experience to be considered. This is a contract role initially for 12 months although highly likely to be long-term.

£26.12 per hour (Umbrella) or £19.46 per hour PAYE (holiday pay is paid on top) *role is INSIDE IR35* Monday - Friday 37 hours +

Role Overview:

The Surface Mount Circuit Card Operator will be responsible for the carrying out of machine manufacturing and self-certification tasks within the deployed business, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives.

Specific responsibilities include:

Surface mount and through-hole component assembly Hand soldering Circuit Card Assemblies to IPC 610 & 001 Fine soldering under magnification Operations of equipment, to build circuit card assemblies including:
