We have an exciting new opportunity as a Sustainability Business Lead who will lead the implementation of our progressive capital sustainability strategy across the whole of Severn Trent and the entirety of our external capital supply chain, from our design consultancies, contractors, equipment suppliers and other specialist providers.

This role takes personal accountability to ensure that the capital solutions we deliver meet our ambitions to be carbon neutral and create natural and social enhancements, whilst we continue to offer value for money for our customers, deliver on our significant future investment commitments and build quality assets which fully comply with all relevant standards.

This role can be based on any of our capital hubs; Shrewsbury, Derby or Coventry.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

The successful candidate will l ead the continual evolution of our capital sustainability strategy, working closely with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure that this strategy aligns and enhances Severn Trent’s overall sustainability strategy as set out by the Board .

You’ll keep the company informed of the latest external developments in capital sustainability best practise and in the forefront of sustainable innovations, which include, low carbon construction materials, novel and impactful biodiversity net gain approaches and low-carbon/nature based build solutions.
