GetSetSwim is scaling FAST. New clubs. Big ambition. Zero interest in doing things the old way.


We’re a challenger brand on a mission to rebuild the learn-to-swim experience from the ground up. Founded by leisure entrepreneur Claire Harrison, GetSetSwim has ditched cold, chaotic, one-size-fits-all lessons and replaced them with calm, purpose-built pools, elite coaching, and a genuinely family-first approach.


With two flagship clubs opening this April in South Kensington and Fulham, we’re looking for TWO exceptional Club General Managers to take full ownership of these sites and make them fly.


This is not a caretaker role….This is a run-it-like-you-own-it leadership position.

The Opportunity


As Club General Manager, you own your club’s success — commercially, operationally, and culturally.


You are the leader, the decision-maker, and the standard-setter.


Commercial Leadership

You will drive local commercial performance, including:


  • Converting inbound enquiries into members
  • Maximising timetable fill, capacity utilisation, and yield
  • Improving retention, lifetime value, and overall customer experience
  • Building local partnerships and strong community engagement


People Leadership

You will build and lead a high-performing on-site team by:


  • Hiring, onboarding, and managing swimming instructors and club staff
  • Setting clear standards, behaviours, and expectations
  • Creating a motivated, accountable, and energised culture
  • Managing performance, engagement, and morale with confidence and empathy


Operational Excellence

You will own the day-to-day delivery, ensuring:


  • Safe, compliant, high-quality swimming sessions
  • A seamless, standout customer experience at every touchpoint
  • Immaculate facilities, presentation, and professionalism
  • Fast, effective local problem-solving — no unnecessary escalation


Accountability & Performance

You will be held to clear, meaningful benchmarks, including:


  • Commercial and revenue performance
  • Capacity, utilisation, and conversion metrics
  • Retention, customer feedback, and NPS
  • Quality, safeguarding, and compliance standards


Who We’re Looking For

You’re someone who:


  • Has run a site, venue, or unit with real accountability
  • Is commercially confident and comfortable owning the numbers
  • Leads people with clarity, authority, and humanity
  • Thrives with autonomy and responsibility
  • Thinks like an owner — not a task manager


Relevant backgrounds may include:


  • Leisure, fitness, swim school management - pre-requisite
  • General management or senior operations leadership
  • A role where commercial performance truly mattered
