\nJob Advert\n \n Job Title System Safety Engineering Lead – Avionics \n \n Location Warton, would also consider Prestwick – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role \n \n Salary Up to 62,498.00 Dependent on experience \n \n What you’ll be doing \n \n Maintaining and updating the D&C System Safety Assessment Report. \n Reviewing design changes and generating safety statements. \n Reviewing Prelminary Hazard Analysis. \n Reviewing Safety Critical Functional Chains. \n Supporting in-service queries/incidents. \n Supporting safety process change workshops, and product safety forums. \n \n \n Your skills and experiences \n Essential \n \n Experience in system safety working practices; e.g. Hazard Analysis, Safety Cases, Fault Tree Analyis, Failure Modes, Effects & Criticality Analysis. \n Strong understanding and experience of the ‘V’ lifecycle, and system engineering principles. \n Knowledge of Avionics development processes and toolsets. \n Must be willing to show integrity in the quality and accuracy of work during periods of delivery pressure. \n \n <...
