System Test Engineer

Uxbridge | Full-time | On-site (1 day wfh)

£55,000-£60,000

We’re looking for a System Test Engineer to join a growing engineering team focused on developing and delivering next-generation communication products.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of system verification and validation, working closely with hardware, software, and cross-functional teams to ensure products meet performance, quality, and regulatory requirements before release.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead system, integration, verification, and validation testing for new products
• Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports
• Support regulatory and compliance testing (e.g. ETSI, FCC, EMC/EMI)
• Work closely with engineering teams to diagnose issues and improve product quality
• Contribute to test strategy and Design-for-Test during development
• Coordinate with third-party test labs where required

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in system and integration testing of hardware and/or software products
• Strong debugging, failure analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Exposure to regulatory or compliance testing (ETSI, FCC, EMC/EMI)
• Comfortable producing clear test documentation
• Experience with Python or scripting for test automation or data analysis is a plus
• Background in electronics, RF, telecommunications, or similar engineering fields

This role is primarily based on site with the opportunity to work 1 day from home, workload dependent. It comes with a salary of up to £60,000 for the right experience.
