You will act as a key point of contact for Workday Financials support, system improvements, and release management across a global user base.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkday Financials SupportAct as the primary escalation point for all Workday Financials support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of system issues and user queriesProvide day-to-day functional support across core Workday Financials modules (e.g. GL, AP, AR, Assets, Banking, Expenses)Troubleshoot system issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with internal teams or Workday partners where requiredSystem Maintenance & OptimisationPartner with the ERP Lead to ensure Workday Financials is effectively maintained, configured, and aligned with finance and accounting requirementsIdentify opportunities for system optimisation, process improvement, and automationSupport enhancement initiatives, configuration changes, and minor projects as they ariseRelease & Change ManagementSupport bi‑annual Workday releases, including impact assessments, testing, deployment, and user communicationsCoordinate UAT with finance stakeholders and ensure business readiness for new functionalityMaintain system documentation, controls, and change logsStakeholder EngagementAct as a bridge between Finance, IT, and external vendors to ensure effective system usageSupport global users with training, guidance, and best‑practice usage of Workday FinancialsAssist with audit requests, controls documentation, and compliance‑related queriesAbout YouBackground in Accounting or Finance, ideally part‑qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent experienceMinimum 2+ years’ experience supporting Workday Financials in a global or multi‑entity environmentStrong understanding of finance processes and how they translate into ERP systemsProven experience working with support ticketing systems and prioritising workloads effectivelyTechnical & Functional SkillsHands‑on experience with Workday Financials configuration and functional supportStrong understanding of financial controls, month‑end processes, and accounting workflowsComfortable working with system testing, release management, and documentationExperience supporting users across multiple regions and time zonesPersonal AttributesExcellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to engage non‑technical stakeholdersProactive, solutions‑focused mindset with strong attention to detailAble to work independently in a fast‑paced, PE‑backed environmentWilling and able to attend the London office 2 days per weekSeniority LevelMid‑Senior levelEmployment TypeContractJob FunctionAccounting/Auditing | Staffing and RecruitingLocationLondon, England, United Kingdom #J-18808-Ljbffr
