This will be a permanent role.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:Business Requirements IdentificationSupport the Head of Financial systems to document complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goalsCoordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems and systems analysis.Technical Developments RecommendationParticipate in discussions to recommend more complex or innovative technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/application software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users' needs.Financial Information SystemsSupport the Head of Financial Systems to deliver financial systems changes and to meet project timelines and quality and budget requirementsEngage with finance users to identify requirements, and work with the team to design solutions.Continuous ImprovementReview existing operations in a major area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered.RequirementsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's Degree or Equivalent LevelWide and deep experience providing expert competenceExtensive knowledge of JD Edwards is a mustKnowledge of Planful or another EPM tool is a mustProven experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managersSkillsBusiness Data ModellingIT TestingPerform Gap AnalysisReview and ReportingAnalyse Current State/AS-IS StateBusiness Requirements AnalysisData Collection and AnalysisWorkflow ManagementDatabase ReportingDatabase User Interfaces and QueriesMetadata ManagementJD Edwards - Advanced LevelThis job description is a summary of the typical functions of the job; not an exhaustive or comprehensive list of all possible responsibilities, tasks and duties.
