Talent Acquisition Assistant
Salary: £25,000 plus (Dependent on Experience) + Excellent Benefits
Are you passionate about creating a positive candidate experience and supporting a dynamic recruitment team? We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our People Operations team and help us deliver an exceptional hiring journey for both candidates and managers. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, offering an excellent opportunity to gain experience and make an impact within our Talent Acquisition team.
As our Talent Acquisition Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our recruitment activities across the organisation. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you’ll work closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists and People Services colleagues to ensure a smooth, efficient, and engaging recruitment process. This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail and excellent organisational skills are essential.
As our Talent Acquisition Assistant you will:
* Manage the Talent Acquisition inbox and responding promptly to queries.
* Post job adverts on our careers page, LinkedIn, and external job boards.
* Coordinate interviews and assessment centres, including scheduling and logistics.
* Support candidate onboarding activities, including Right to Work checks and documentation.
* Maintain accurate recruitment data and trackers for reporting purposes.
* Assist with recruitment projects and initiatives to improve processes and candidate experience.
* Monitor and responding to employer reviews on platforms like Glassdoor and Indeed.
* Liaise with hiring managers and candidates to ensure timely feedback and communication.
We are looking for:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with a strong focus on data accuracy and reporting.
* Highly organised with excellent diary management skills and the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines.
* Detail-driven and discreet, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality at all times.
* Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and confidence in managing stakeholder relationships.
* Solutions-focused, use initiative to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
* Collaborative and proactive who brings energy and a positive attitude to team goals.
* HR experience or degree desirable, particularly exposure to recruitment or talent acquisition processes, but not essential.
