Working Pattern - Hybrid 2 days per week in our UK office in Bournemouth or our Vitality South Africa office in Sandton, Johannesburg. Full time, 35 hours per week.

Were looking for a confident, curious, and credible Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead recruitment activity for our South African offices. Reporting to our Talent Acquisition Manager in the UK, you will be part of our global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence, you will be the Talent Acquisition expert for South Africa, delivering and influencing recruitment across all business areas and acting as a trusted partner to leaders.
This role could be based in our UK office in Bournemouth or our South Africa office in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Key Actions
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist for South Africa, you will:

• Own end to end hiring, across all functions for our South Africa offices, from advertising to offer
• Be a trusted advisor to hiring managers, coaching them to adopt best practice recruitment behaviours that lead to better, faster, more inclusive hiring choices
• Champion a world class candidate experience, ensuring every interaction is positive, timely, and reflects the Vitality purpose and brand
• Use your curiosity and insight to influence hiring decisions, challenge constructively, and raise the bar on quality
• Build strong partnerships with HR, business leaders, and the wider TA Centre of Excellence to ensure alignment, agility, and continuous improvement
• Proactively source diverse talent, developing talent pipelines and smart search strategies for our hard to fill roles
• Use data and storytelling to share insights, identify market trends, and guide leaders to make confident decisions
• Support the evolution of our recruitment processes, tools, partnerships and ways of working to ensure were always delivering brilliant basics and meaningful innovation

What do you need to thrive?

• Experience working within a global or multinational organisation an understanding of the South Africa talent market and culture is preferred
• Credibility the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and challenge with respect
• Curiosity a desire to understand the business, the market, and what great looks like for every role
• AI savvy confidence to responsibly embrace AI, developing the right balance between technology and human interaction
• Expert TA capability strong end to end recruitment skills across a range of business areas, with a particular passion for Tech recruitment
• A growth mindset always looking for new ways and partnerships to improve, evolve, and elevate our approach
• Empathy and communication you understand people, connect quickly, and communicate with clarity and care
• A passion for delivering exceptional experiences for candidates, hiring managers, and colleagues
