Shape the Future of Talent ??
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent Programme Manager to design, lead and deliver high-impact talent and early careers programmes within a complex, future-focused organisation.
This role sits at the heart of the organisation's Talent Strategy, playing a critical part in building the pipelines of capability and leadership needed for the future. The successful candidate will raise the bar on talent programmes, ensuring they are innovative, inclusive, and aligned to long-term organisational goals.
The Role
The Talent Programme Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end design, management and delivery of flagship Talent and Early Careers programmes, including graduate schemes. Working closely with senior stakeholders across HR and the wider business, the role will ensure programmes are fit for purpose, operationally excellent and deliver meaningful outcomes for both participants and the organisation.
This is a role for someone who thrives on influence, collaboration and impact, and who is passionate about developing future talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of talent and early careers programmes, ensuring alignment with the wider Talent Strategy
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to define annual early careers hiring needs and strengthen the organisation's employer brand as a destination for emerging talent
- Drive strong early careers retention through high-quality induction, programme management, rotation planning and structured off-boarding
- Coach and support line managers in their pastoral responsibilities, and contribute to assessment boards and performance discussions where required
- Collaborate with senior talent and assessment leaders to deliver assessor training for talent programmes
- Produce accurate, high-quality talent data and reporting to support senior committees and decision-making
- Track and report on key programme KPIs, providing clear insights to senior HR leadership on progress, risks and opportunities
About You
This role would suit an individual who combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, and who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and initiatives.
You will bring:
- A graduate-level qualification and a proven track record of delivering measurable impact
- Strong knowledge of best practice in talent programmes, early careers and development pathways
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills at all levels
- The confidence to influence, coach and constructively challenge senior stakeholders
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while driving business-focused change
- A natural curiosity and strong networking capability, with a desire to learn, share and continuously improve
Why Apply?
This is a rare opportunity to shape the future talent landscape of a highly technical and purpose-driven organisation. The role offers visibility, influence and the chance to make a lasting impact on people, performance and potential.
