The Tax Analyst will primarily support the Vitality UK Tax team across the full spectrum of business taxes including CT, VAT, employment taxes, IPT, and international taxes in a varied and diverse role.Key ActionsCompliance work, including:VAT group returns and balance sheet reconciliationsPAYE Settlement Agreement calculationsUK corporation computationsShort term business visitor returnsTax accounting under IFRS including liaison with internal and external audit teamsInternational tax reporting involvement (CbCR, Pillar 2, tax transparency, transfer pricing)Maintaining strong tax governance controls and documentationActing as a trusted business partner, providing clear and persuasive tax guidance to internal stakeholders.Assistance with ad hoc tax projects, including tax automation initiativesWhat do you need to thrive?Minimum 2 years experience in a tax role (in-house or practice)Professional qualifications such as AAT, ATT, ACCA, ACA, or CTA (part-qualified or qualified)Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a teamStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills, including working remotely with global cross-functional teamsExcellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to prioritise multiple tasksAdaptable and proactive, embracing change as an opportunity for improvementStrong written and verbal communication, research, and analytical skills?Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAGE or similar)What do you need to thrive?2+ years of experience in a tax or finance role (either in-house or in practice)Self-motivated, with an ability to work independentlyStrong inter-personal skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a teamDetail-oriented and strong work ethicHigh tolerance for change, embrace change as opportunityOrganised with ability to multi-task and prioritise workloadAbility to collaborate remotely with a cross functional global teamStrong communication (written and verbal), research and analytical skillsStrong Excel and knowledge of ERP systems such as SAGE or similarProficient MS Word/Powerpoint skillsSo, whats in it for you?Bonus Schemes A bonus that regularly rewards you for your performanceA pension of up to 12% We will match your contributions up to 6% of your salaryOur award-winning Vitality health insurance With its own set of rewards and benefitsLife Assurance Four times annual salaryThese are just some of the many perks that we offer!
